Wild Rose Pilates is a Classical Pilates studio and offers both virtual and in-person training.
What is Pilates and how can it help you? Great questions! Pilates, originally called "Contrology", is a vigorous, full-body workout that was designed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's. It is widely known that Pilates strengthens your "core", and while most people understand that to mean the abdominals, it actually includes your seat, your back, AND your abdominals!
In fact, Pilates utilizes the entire body in each workout to systematically correct asymmetry and improve one's posture, balance, strength, and flexibility. When practiced regularly, Pilates is transformative.
Whether you're looking to improve your athletic performance, develop better posture and balance, recover from an injury, or even get in and out of chairs without grunting , Pilates was created for you.
